Starkin provides AI companions. Every companion is an artificial intelligence, not a real person, and is always disclosed as such. Starkin is not a therapist, doctor, counselor, or emergency service, and nothing it says is professional medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. Romantic companions and any mature content are strictly for adults aged 18 or older, and you must confirm your age to access them. Accounts found to be used by minors for adult features may be removed.
The Starkin name, brand, website, software, source code, the "Soul Engine," companion designs, prompts, text, and all other content are the proprietary property of Starkin and its owner, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service as intended. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, mirror, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any part of Starkin, or use automated tools to extract its content or behavior, without prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Do not misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it; no scraping or bulk extraction; no using it to harm others, to generate illegal content, or to impersonate Starkin. We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove access for misuse.
You retain ownership of what you write. We use it to operate the companions and your memory features. We aim to handle personal data responsibly and in line with applicable data-protection law. Do not share others' personal data without their consent.
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI responses can be wrong or unexpected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starkin is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms as the product grows. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
